Oliver Hazard
Please join us for Oliver Hazard on Saturday, March 15th in The Pub Station Taproom.
The story of Waterville, OH indie-folk trio Oliver Hazard – Michael Belazis (vocals, guitar) and Devin East (vocals, guitar), joined by Nate Miner (keys, vocals)–is a modern take on classic band mythmaking. One member returned home to Ohio after leading camping trips in California and decided to make an album with two childhood friends. They won a Facebook raffle to record one song at a studio–but instead, they played their entire album straight through in a single take, resulting in their 2018 debut LP, 34 N River. The album was hailed as a “folk-pop masterpiece” by The Fader, and soon after, the band landed slots at Bonnaroo and Mountain Jam. In 2019, they released their 6-track EP, The Flood, which Billboard described as a “souvenir.” Their self-titled sophomore album followed in July 2023, incorporating music from their earlier Northern Lights EP along with five new songs. Most recently, they released their Raindrop River EP in December 2024. Oliver Hazard’s next chapter continues to tell the story of Waterville, Ohio–a small town with a big heart. Their music serves as a soundtrack to everyday life, lifting spirits and inviting listeners to find beauty in the ordinary.

Counting Coup
Coup, pronounced “ko͞o”, meaning to strike. In Native American culture, counting coup is the ultimate display of bravery. It comes in many forms but the most known is to touch your enemy in battle, showing that you could have taken their life and chose not to. No matter the case, counting coup always includes risking one’s life for the sake of honor and bravery.
Counting Coup, in its purest form, is an act of bravery reliant upon steel nerves, glorious ambition, and unfaltering faith. This band brings all these things and more to each performance. Counting Coup, with its rugged, rowdy, and broken sound, is bound to draw you in with soulful leads and melodies while flattening you with lyrics that range from gleeful to heart wrenchingly desolate. It is a collaboration of joy, pain, suffering, understanding, and plain old fun. The band is comprised of Troy Falcon on bass/lead vocals, Toby Falcon on guitar/vocals, Brenden Fritzler on harmonica, and Ken Clark on drums.

His first LP, Fried Chicken & Evil Women, from 2019, established him as a refreshing voice in the modern country music landscape. The songs from that first album were charming and playful songs, but didn’t reveal the entirety of Emerson’s story.

Tophouse with The Wildwoods
Please join us for Tophouse with special guests The Wildwoods on Sunday, April 13th in the Pub Station Ballroom.
TOPHOUSE:
A lot of people ask us what genre we are. The truth is, we don’t know. Check out some of our music and let us know what you think. In reality, if you really want to get to know about TopHouse, y’all should shoot us a message and say hi, come to a show, or listen to some music! Why not all three?
“Fast-paced, high-energy foot stompers. Ballads that’ll make you cry. It’s kind of like a rock band married old-fashioned bluegrass and had a little baby. And named it TopHouse.”
THE WILDWOODS:
In the heart of Lincoln, Nebraska, The Wildwoods, a folk/Americana trio led by Noah and Chloe Gose, alongside bassist Andrew Vaggalis, deliver a musical journey through the soul of American roots. With accolades ranging from international songwriting competitions to standing ovations at festivals like Summerfest and FreshGrass, their latest release, “Foxfield Saint John” (2023), solidifies them as a force in the folk scene.

AJ Lee & Blue Summit
AJ Lee & Blue Summit are an award-winning, energetic, charming, and technically jaw-dropping band quickly rising on the national roots music scene. Based in Santa Cruz, California, the group met as teenagers, picking and jamming together as kids at local bluegrass festivals until one day, they decided they would be a band.
Currently made up of AJ Lee on mandolin, fiddler Jan Purat, and guitarists Scott Gates and Sullivan Tuttle, the band carries that youthful, festival-parking-lot energy with them still today, but at the same time there’s a genuine ease and confidence to their music making. As they ready their third studio album, City of Glass – their first label release, out July 19th via Signature Sounds – their product feels mature and fully realized, while deep in the Blue Summit pocket.
City of Glass is a slow burn album, remarkable when considered alongside records released by their peers in recent years. Lee & Blue Summit seem unconcerned with mimicking or emulating other successful groups in their scenes. Instead, they’re most interested in discovering themselves, their own music, and sonics and textures truly their own. And, they’re most interested in doing so with their musical and Californian communities.

Cooper Alan: To The Bar Tour
A rising star with the spirit of a true entertainer, a penchant for outside-the-box thinking and a growing, self-built audience, Cooper Alan is an artist willing to take country music where others have never dreamed – and fans love him for it. Whether it’s a deeply personal, step-by-step romantic saga, or an off-the-wall party anthem, Alan’s music is already some of country’s most fearless work, and he’s just getting started. A native of Winston-Salem, NC, the independent artist has racked up more than 225 million streams, a massive digital presence with more than 14 million followers across all social media platforms, and a touring footprint that sold over 110,000 tickets to date. It all stems from an ability to meet fans where they are – a creative renegade freely mixing musical styles, with boundless energy, sharp writing and often, a sense of humor. But don’t be mistaken, there’s nothing gimmicky about it. Pokey LaFarge
Logjam Presents is pleased to welcome Pokey LaFarge for a live in concert performance at The ELM on Friday, March 7, 2025.
All ages are welcome.
Reflecting on the origins of Rhumba Country, LaFarge points to one of the most crucial revelations he experienced while farming: a newfound understanding of the uniquely human potential to be “conduits of continuous creation.” To that end, his effort to provide listeners with “medicine for the soul” has led LaFarge toward a deeper level of dedication when it comes to nurturing his own spirit. “You have to live the life you’re singing in your songs—no matter what you’re going through,” he says. “Everything will come out in your music whether you want it to or not. I’ve realized that the more I can pursue goodness and live in peace, the more I can make the music I was put here to make.” And by living with intention and fully connecting with his truest purpose, LaFarge might finally be ready to lay his head in a place he calls home.
